Lev Ozdil

Lev "Oz" Ozdil is a main character in the ABC series, High Potential. He is portrayed by Deniz Akdeniz.

Oz became a detective to help the people of LA, He’s a junior detective and glass-half-full type of guy—and that can be both his greatest virtue and his worst vice.

Season 1[]

In "Survival Mode", Oz is in charge of visiting the neighbors and finds out that the day before, there's a market where the father sells his vegetables. Someone saw a woman get into an argument with the father. She has red hair and glasses and is in her 30s. He shares this information with Selena and Karadec. Oz is put in charge of the phones and announces over 100 calls but no leads. Selena called in a favor to get it announced over the TV. Selena after hearing no phone leads had come through was upset. Over 15 hours since the girls went missing and the only lead is a description of a red haired woman who had a fight with the victim. Oz adds that she had glasses. Off screen Oz is the one who matched the tire treads at the scene to Mia's car.

In "Croaked",  Oz and Daphne are put in charge of the scene of the dead vet while a tranquilized Karadec and Morgan have another case to go to. Lev had to draw a picture of the suspect that the witness's friend's son described. Oz has to go with Daphne on a stake out and is eating. The two bicker a lot. Oz said he doesn't care about what Karadec thinks. Daphne does. Thinking they see a man with a gun, they bust into the building only to find Karadec and Morgan who claims she had been promised to call for back up next time. Morgan finds a room of exotic animals and they recognize the spider the man said was killed. Turns out the vet was an exotic animal trafficking. Morgan put together why she needed money and said she needed it for a house with bees for the mother and her son. Oz spent time with the kid while the mom confessed. Then the victim's mom came in to collect her daughter things and Oz told her to wait there then Daphne came in and said the whole story which Daphne overheard. That the victim AKA her daughter, was the mother to the kid. She was upset and left. Oz had to bring up the husband out of jail. Curious Oz asked him why he confessed to a crime he didn't commit. He said he grew up without a mom and it was hard so he didn't want that for his son. He said he would have wanted to grow up without a dad instead. Oz and Daphne returns the spider to the man who is happy.

In "One of Us", Oz arrives on the scene of gunmen at the police station holding hostages. He and Karadec are debriefed by Selena. The squat team has secured the building but the police's Bull team (their team) is inside still. Meanwhile Selena figures out who was in charge of the case and tells Oz to bring him there. Oz goes to get a few suspects along the way and looks up information on the computer to help save the day.

In "Obsessed", Oz figures out the victim's real name and gives them her address. Oz is passionate about finding the murderer of the ex-boyfriend. He said he won't eat or sleep until he solves the mystery with fresh eyes.

In "The RAMs",  Oz is with the team searching for the car which has run over the victim twice. He finds it but is unsure about uncovering it. Morgan took care of that. Oz is asked to look up info on the Jensen to find prints or any clue as to where it came from. He is also trusted by Morgan to babysit Chloe for 10 minutes until Ludo arrives to take over. He is sent with Daphne to talk to Phil the neighbor. When they arrive, he's in a boot and announces he does not like his neighbor. He was bitter and complained about a barking dog that was killed by treats and trees that died by copper nails. He claims he had nothing to do with those things despite being sued. He has an alibi.

In "Chutes and Murders", Oz and Daphne have to interview the nannies about the murdered nanny. They find out the nanny was nice but kept to herself but there was a 'creepy guy' hanging around the playground. Daphne and Oz are busy on the case and even get photos from the PI. Oz is stuck talking to a guy he doesn't like but does manage to find some photos suggesting that the victim's relationship with one of the dad's is sketchy as she's seen wearing his sweat shirt. While Selana and Morgan were talking, Oz brought in more photos suggesting the husband knew Tara better than he said as they were in every picture together. So Oz is to go back to the nannies. Morgan and Karadec are tagging along.     

In "The Sauna at the End of the Stairs", Daphne and Oz are asked to keep the station going while Selena and the others go investigate a closed case. A family member shows up as a reporter and tries to get them to talk. They refuse but she said the confession isn't real. So she tells them about the fact he wouldn't have waited years before confessing if he had done it. She also told them that they will lie to protect each other and they won't be able to break them. They talk to her about the family dinner and she said there was bruises on a lady who caught on fire. Oz and Daphne try to call Karadec to tell him but he doesn't pick up. Then Detective Melon comes down the hall asking why the reporter family member is here. The family reporter continued her story, the fire lady couldn't sleep with the victim so she offered to go get her things out of her room while someone else helped her get new clothes. She said Barry was watching TV when she walked in and he threw the fire lady's clothes at her and she took them and that was the last she saw of Barry. She didn't like the smell of a candle lit so she went outside to see someone selling drugs to the son.   

In "Let's Play" , Oz was investigating the disappearance of 1 person, then it got to 2 people. The people who disappeared were all from the grief group that Oz was in because he lost his dad. While getting in his car to go to the police gala, his air bag went off and knocked him out. We then see the kidnapper in the window. One hour later Daphne noticed that Oz still wasn't at the gala and wasn't picking up his phone. She went to go check on him only to find him missing from his car. They found him chained down to a pool with no oxygen left. He was dead for a minute or two but he was revived.
