Hangover is the sixth episode of the ABC original series, High Potential. It will air on October 29, 2024, and the next day on Hulu.
Synopsis[]
A wild office party at a high-profile medical technology startup leads to the shocking murder of the founder and CEO, and Morgan and the team are on the case. Meanwhile, a new co-worker at the precinct catches Morgan’s eye.
Plot[]
The suspect wakes up with a hangover after having a party. She is in the CEO's office and doesn't remember anything but finds it a mess. As she's looking around, she finds the CEO dead. Someone has killed her. The suspect denies killing her despite her boss being hard to work for but a journal in her office suggests otherwise as it shows a hand drawn image of her stabbing her boss. The suspect doesn't remember still as she mixed drugs with alcohol so when they find a picture containing lipstick of the receptionist, they go to talk to her who remembers a lot including a guest not on the list being at the party. They go to talk to the unwanted guest who did cause some trouble but she broke the frame, cut up the toy and wrote forever on the wall as the medication she was giving her son caused her to forever have lung issues including asthma. She left when the CEO was still alive though. When she left, she bumped into the assistant. She was sleeping with the husband so both had an alibi bringing them back to the original suspect much to Morgan's dismay. The original suspect is arrested but thankfully Morgan noticed a camera and it's self defense so she is off the hook. Case solved.
